I love meeting couples and hearing all about their love story and lives, and feel honoured to be able to help them design their own bespoke ceremony.
Susan’s background is travel, and was fortunate enough to work onboard cruise ships in the entertainment department. During this time, Susan came into contact with many couples getting married onboard which she found a delight. It was an amazing time meeting people from all walks of life, before settling in her beloved Scotland.
Susan became a Humanist Celebrant as her own wedding was a Humanist service, and in the build up to their wedding and speaking with their celebrant closely, Susan loved how personal the whole experience was. So many of our guests commented on how personal the service was, and how it really captured them as individuals and as a couple. It was this experience and having attended other Humanist weddings, which made Susan interested in finding out more about Humanism, she really felt a connection to it, and also how much she would love to have the privilege to be part of a couple’s day – training to become a Humanist Celebrant was the natural thing to do.
Susan is based in Glasgow, and is happy to travel near and far, to the many beautiful places Scotland has to offer.
