We are planning our ceremony, can we meet with you?
Without a doubt, we pride ourselves on the personal touch, and can meet with you on any day of the week.  If a face to face meeting isn’t possible, we can arrange a phone call, Skype or Facetime meeting with you.  Call us on 0800 014 8237 and we will arrange a meeting with you.

Do you cater for double weddings?

Will you assist us with booking a reception or meal following the Wedding Ceremony?
YES, we will be happy to help with any aspect of your wedding.

How long does the ceremony last?
This depends on the kind of ceremony you have chosen. Every ceremony is created for each couple on an individual basis. A simple ceremony can take around 10 – 15 minutes, depending on the content, i.e. readings and poetry, but the ceremony can last 30 – 40 minutes. Once the ceremony is complete, you and your witnesses must sign the marriage schedule. This takes about 10 minutes for all parties to complete the necessary legal documentation. The Marriage Schedule is a legal document and is the same regardless of the ceremony style.

Do we have to reside in Scotland before the wedding?
At the moment no, so long as your marriage notices are received by the registration office at least 29 working days before the marriage date, you do not need to physically be in Scotland until the day of the wedding. What if one or both of us is divorced/widowed?
We recommend submitting the marriage notice earlier at least 6 weeks before the wedding date in case of complications. You will have to enclose your Decree Absolute or certificate of death when submitting you Marriage Notices.

How soon can we marry?
We recommend a minimum 6-8 weeks notice, but it is possible to complete the legalities in 29 days.

Can we marry on a Sunday or a Bank Holiday?
YES, you can marry on any day of the year.

How soon should we book?
As soon as you have decided on the date and venue. For Saturdays and special dates like 14th February we would recommend as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Do we need witnesses?
YES, you need 2, 16 years of age or over. These are traditionally the Best Man and Bridesmaid, but you are not restricted by this. If you require witness to be provided for you, we can offer this at no extra cost.

Can foreign nationals marry in Scotland?
YES, anyone can legally marry in Scotland over the age of 16 years. Call us on 0800 014 8237 for more information regarding the additional documentation you will require. What countries is our Marriage recognized in?
A legal Scottish marriage is legally recognized in all countries.

How much is the Notice fee and Marriage Certificate?
£70 per couple. (subject to change)

How can I pay my deposit and final balance?
Payments can be made directy into the Fuze bank account, details are provided on the invoice or you can send us a cheque or cash. Please note that we are unable to process card payments. We cannot take payment over the phone.
